Getting Ahold of CEQA, but I'm Not Sure if It's a Good Idea.

I find it interesting, though, how advocates of bills like CEQA consistently conflate the concentrated harms from industrial activities and housing. It has been refreshing when I have one-on-one conversations with some members of the legislature who will tell me up front that they simply don't think it's good policy to allow lower-income people to live in upper-income neighborhoods because that will invite more crime. And again, I thank them for their honesty.
