Using DIDs in Web2 Platforms Is a Great Idea
The staying power that people have on certain networks is hard to overcome. How do you convince people to say, yeah, leave that and come to Gateway? I think right now the reason that it's not that difficult but choice is first of all, those platforms like for example the incumbent ones like LinkedIn are really just yourself testing most of that information. But then things get really tricky when you think about data with Web2 companies. So that's kind of where like DIDs or ceramic come in and it's more user control.
