How to Integrate and Deploy a Cogeneration Tooling?

Co generation often involves collaboration between people. It's a technique that is pulled out when two teams, oror two roopsor two pieces of soft ware have to interact each other. What do i do with te generated source code? Do i check this in to version control, or is this typically something that you would put in it get ignore? Because, well, if you need it, you can just generate it again. I don't think there are a kind of scandard bretches and dana is the unfortunate answer.
