How Did You Become a Cryptocurrency Entrepreneur?
The tech is just mature. Like it's almost, you can just off the shelf build a good website now. So I became friends with the team over there and I really loved what was going on socially. There was a lot to love with that culture that was being built. When he was at Google Ventures, I led some of our crypto deals,. But then this web three things started to kind of take root. And I would say the DeFi that was really brought me in. That was the first use case where I was like, okay, it's more than just speculation. There's actually real products that are being built here.
