Are You Halfing a Ring Fence?
A properly functioning priortization process would regularly measure, is this thing still the most important? And if it remains the most important for quite some time, and you want to spend friday afternoons on it, and that's the best thing to do, you would do that as part of your prioritization process. In these cases where the team's doing the right thing, sure, but then you don't need ring fencing. You just keep measuring it, and you keep saying, yal, you know what we're doing on fr Friday afternoons? Still the right thing? Great. But what it doesn't then, what you don't do is you don't fall
