The Federalist press on the other side is just as fanciful as the Republican press, right? That's right. And especially by the end of the decade. So by the election of 1800, which is far more vitriolic than today's elections, the claim on behalf of the, or made by the Federalist press is that Thomas Jefferson is an atheist. He gets elected president. There will be no more morality. Your wives will be raped in the streets. I mean, it's just that the over the top on both sides is incredible to read.
