The why is housed in the limbic brain, the inner part of the brain that doesn't have the capacity for language. So we buy things because they feel right and then justify it with the facts,. And so when we got to the why of trust, you could see if we went far enough back that they had a violation of their trust by somebody very important to them. It's predictable that they had to grow up really fast because something happened where they had to become an adult at like age five or six.
