The Taiwan Travel Act Set the Stage for in Person Meetings

The Taiwan travel act was written by the fully Republican Party controlled Congress and signed into law by Republican President Donald Trump. The new law is a simple two pager that changed the policy of the United States to allow officials at all levels of the U.S. government to meet their Taiwanese counterparts. And so do not be surprised if these Taiwan related travel stories keep popping up, because right now our Congress is requiring that these travel fights continue to be picked.
