Portraits and Pixl

i think the eephone or samsong phones do a good job of presenting the right amount of detail, without overdoing it. And i think that the fact that pixl can capture so much detail is really impress ive and really cool. But it doesn't work for every situation. It doesn't work necessarily as well for portraits. I don't want it to be as sharp when i'm taking a photo of myself or i'm posting a portrait.
