The Doctrine of Divine Simplicity Is a Logical Distinction

i agree that the bible doesn't teach divine simplicity. At the same time, there are ideas within the bible that mesh well with divine simplicity. The doctrine of divine simplicity is a philosophical doctrine. It's not clear to me that god is interested in making every one to be a philosopher. I think people have varying gifts and em you know, vocations and callings from god. So i think that god did not teach divine timelessness or simplicity in scripture simply because it was irrelevant to the purpose. And as long as we have those things, the anomission accomplished, scripture has done what it needs to do.
