Amd is an application that takes over the diful idia of your terminal. It's kindlike am kin, like a goe or web application, but within within your terminal. And it looks way better than sok. I don't think there was a lot of innovative things in Amd. The reason for that is that i'm the web came along and everyone saw the web as the platform. But theteminal hasn't ay benefit from that. Some people are using am, very old apis, like purses, that's been around for literally decades to build these things. So it's deafly not am the new cool thing.
