The Economic Impact of Housing Values on Consumers
People are locked into their home, even if they hate their home, they love their mortgage. So we expect prices to still come in. Although our peak to trough decline in house prices now is not as significant as it was before. The fact that housing values have held up means that people's housing wealth has also held up.
