Technological society has become the new religious foundation for majority of people. The sacred is what orients human action, and it is associated with both hopes and fears. Technique now becomes an environment which orientes everything else. In that sense, bioporienting our decisions in such a clear way, the economy or the technique underlies economic thinking has become a sort of new sacred.
