The Importance of Being a Mermaid
Halle Bailey stars as a mermaid in the upcoming film version of The Color Purple. At 23, she seems to have fulfilled many of her dreams with this role. She was very shy on set and had to learn how to act quickly. But Melissa McCarthy who plays Ursula has been a revelation for her. Her memoirs will be published by Simon & Schuster next year.
