The disciples get it right when Jesus asks, who am i among all these things that people what people worship? And they get it right. He gets i right in title, but not in meaning, not in essence. You don't have in mind the things of god, but things of man. So jesus has to disorient them. They have an illusion of what it means to be discypologies,. and jesus had to shatter that and break that apart.
