The Challenge of Traversing the Tree to Understand the Tax Code
Tax in general is based on law. So theoretically it is deterministic, right? But there are a few nuances there where you have law then the IRS actually translates the law from Congress into instructions on how to fill the forms. And sometimes those instructions are vague and you can translate them into logic and calculations in your software this way or another. We use that with an approach that we call collaborative AI.
