The Double-Edged Sword of Discrimination
Would we be looking for a world where it was just as okay and natural for women to be part of that post-work meet over drinks? Or would the world be, let's have that meeting during work hours over coffee? I think both to some extent. We need a world where this differential needs can be taken into account. And is there a sense sometimes that all these issues around discrimination and things can be resolved somehow technologically? Because you hear so much about smart cities and smart cities are supposed to make it, cities probably safer for women. But as you were talking about the book, that's a double-edged sword too. Women are not comfortable with more surveillance in our lives.
