A number of presentation experts, leaders in the field, advocate for the use of sometimes large numbers to make more of a statement. What they'll do is combine that large number with a very relevant, powerful visual to sort of at least provide content context. Some of the best things i've an for like a dashboard. You might have your big k p i number, and then right next to would have a spark line,. So that you can see the trend that, oh, that number's been going up for, you know, three quarters in a row - or something like that.
