The Importance of Collective Reading Sessions in Startup Culture

Sally Kohn: My experience of startups was informed partly by myself and my co-founders going through an accelerator. But it was also just shaped by what we believed it would be from what we had read in books and seen on TV like watching HBO Silicon Valley. And so I think we had like a very muddled and idealistic conception of what it would be like. She says there's a sense of solidarity among her team that led to paranoia because they thought everyone else was out to fuck them.
