As a whole, i'm relatively optimistic about north america compared to the rest of the world. But i'm increasingly worried at the possible collapse of geo political stability in places such as tywan, ukraine and parts of africa. I think it's become a kind of protective talisman to over worry about American democracy because people feel anst about the content of what it's producing. An american racy has looked and sounded ugly for most of its history. And maybe it sounded better in the eighties and nineties, but for American democracy to be lunacy is, in fact, part of our history.
