A choice tid bit means a nice little piece. Usually we use it with food. A perk, or a perquisite, is kind of like a benefit. For example, maybe you get a job and they say, ah, one perk of the job is you can use the company car. It's an extra benefit, right? It's not part of your salary. The longer word is perquisite. This is a sa t word. We don't use this word uch any more. But we do use the short version, perk, p e r k.
