Van Go the Life Interview - Renee Secreton
Renee used his chummy proximity to vincent primarily as a cover for more elaborate forms of mischief and provocation. It was renee, an athletic drinker, who bought the painter round after round of pernode at the local poachers bar. The secreton brothers relentlessly tormented v Vincent while he worked. Is it possible that on one such occasion, on july 20, seventh renees, secreton pointed the gun at vincent and it inadvertently fired? This could explain the odd location of the wound on his stomach.
