According to Susan Orlean, depending on whom you ask, the shags were either the best band of all time or the worst. They're my favorite band named after a apparently Frank Zapper and Kurt Gabaine were fans. A music fan who claimed to be in the fetal position, writhing in pain, said the shag were hauntingly bad. That's pretty extreme, especially because like if you're not enjoying it, you can leave.
