Are Most Current Pensioners Millionaires?
Economist Rachel Kumlith looked at households where the main earner was a pensioner. 22% of them had assets worth one million pounds or more, but 15% lived below relative poverty line. Another way to make this comparison is that about 27% of pensioners live in millionaire households. But are most current pensioners millionaires or have I misunderstood?
