Six Days in Fallujah - A Case Study

The developers for six days in Fallujah did an awful lot of research. They worked with the US Marine Field Historians who were out in New York and Fallujah at the time. What was interesting talking to them wasn't necessarily that they were trying to recreate the battle, but rather their fear of urban warfare. Every time you log into that game, it creates a new procedurally generated level. So the player never knows that you can't learn the experience, you can’t learn the game, you never sure what's around the corner.
