Of the 164 edtec products reviewed, 100 and forty six, or 89 % of them appeard to engage in data practices that risked or infringed on children's rights. These companies not only distorted children's online experiences, but also risked influencing their opinions and beliefs at a time in their lives when they're very susceptible this kind of stuff. I'd love to see some federal regulation on this stuff. That'll bring us into our free and open source software section.
