Language is a code of visual, auditory symbols that serves the psycho epistemological function of converting concepts into the mental equivalent of concretes. A person who cannot speak can learn how to write a bike. They don't need to put it into words to themselves. There's all sorts of things that people know but they can't explain them with words. All definitions are either circular or lead to some kind of infnite regress. Ultimately, they're circular. But if you focus on language problems of language problems of how define words, define words, then you're divorcing yourself from the way knowledge out there in the real, objective world is actually being constructed right now.
