Non Neutonian Properties of the Ball Point Pen

Liquids are not like solids, the behaviour is much more of a collective. If you pull one bit of a solid, the rest of it generally comes with it. You get some things that are very runny and liquidy, but if you put them under pressure, they become very solid. That's non neutonian. But what is meant by non newtonian? It sounds like something that shouldn't be allowed. Newtono, when newton wes round, we thought we understood the universe. And ever since then, it's sort of been downhill, isn't it? It's got more and more complicated.
