At what point is the burden enough that people won't take it any more? So to answer that, i think we first have to understand that our political system is a form of capital. And because it's considered capital, it also has a maintenance cost. The laboring class is required in order to be able to pay the maintenance costs of capital on our political systems. T survival of our system depends on a passive submission of the laboring class. It also requires active support of a sub group of the labored class that john michael greer calls overseers.
