Why Do I Sleep So Badly After Drinking Red Wine?
Roseanne Kenney, Regis Professor of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. She says alcohol interferes with sleep cycles and can lead to headaches. If you have a propensity to migraine type headaches then you're more likely to get headaches with the heavily fermented wines. Champagne and white wines, peanut and water which haven't been fermented won't cause disruption of sleep or headache to the same degree.
