The Negative Impacts of Light Pollution on the Universe
Light pollution has serious implications down here on Earth as well. Migratory birds for example rely on visual cues of when day becomes night to trigger certain behaviours which artificial light at night can disrupt. Sea turtles are conditioned to follow the brighter light to know where to go at two critical stages of life. And there are other species impacted by our inclination towards 24-7 illumination as well.
