The toughest it's I think the book mostly walks the line between making bunny seem super murderable and making him seem like the kind of guy who you regret regret murdering. That's why Donna Tark only writes one book every 10 years and the fine hone how murderable the guys are. And in the run up to being murdered she does take pains to make him seem especially murderable to the point where afterward it takes a little bit of doing to to make you feel like super bad. If that makes any sense at all? "Yeah, if that makes anysense," he says."It strikes that balance but it's a hard balance to strike."
