The Role of Human Nature in Economic Power
Marxist theory ought to retain a concept of human nature, says Gilles Deleuze. It's not necessary in order to understand why economic power is possible, he argues. But it can provide an argument against using the concept as a normative basis for criticizing certain forms of society or supporting them.
