Heavy strain training results in an increase as, what we call here is i rate of force development. So it increases with high velocity or high force, a low velocity strength training. And the point that chris was making is very important in that we get these improvements in rates of force development across a large spectrum of loads when we do heavy strength training. When you do light strength training, you get improvements in rate of forcedevelopment, but primarily only at that lower load, higher velocity.
