There's scientific evidence now that our dogs really love us. We see patterns of activity in their brains when they're reminded that their beloved human is nearby. There's a hormone called oxytocin which spikes in the bodies of two individuals who are deeply in love with each other and look lovingly into each other's eyes. What does it mean to care for a dog to love a dog what kinds of treatment should we give a dog if we understand that we have a relationship with that animal the way that we do with other kinds of humans i thought.
