In sports cheating to win is not considered bad form. In team sports you're kind of expected to push your advantage as far as you absolutely can. Mark Grace, a baseball player, once reportedly said if you're not cheating, you're not trying. That's really different than let's say your kids or my kids sitting now in online classes. I guess who stands to gain when you cheat on a test is pretty clear, you, because you get a better grade, who stands to lose?
Also, what's better: to learn new skills or go deep on what you're good at?
