Why Cardio Isn't as Effective for Fat Loss as You'd Expect

The author was reviewing a paper by Broski and colleagues, which was called effective aerobic exercise induced weight loss on the components of daily energy expenditure. In this study, they had 42 participants with obesity who were put into three groups. One was an aerobic exercise group that was trying to burn eight kilocalories per kilogram of body weight per week. The high expenditure group did lose a significant, statistically significant amount of body weight,. But it was only half the amount that would be expected mathematically.
