There's actually a lot of stories about this and I think this is part of the success of IKEA as well and thinking about you know differently stuff. It's interesting you bring back memories that I probably would have forgotten completely like the kung and scooter where it came from and so on. Ingmar did made a visit to the US in somewhere around 1960 and visited a number of places to make a long story short he also visited the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
