The CIA Protected Walter Newby
The true identity of Walter Newby, the CIA case officer of the DRE in the year leading up to the Kennedy assassination, was a mystery. After the Warren Commission, Newby and his cover to the DRE as Mr. Howard remained intact. Abraham Bolden was the first black man to serve as a Secret Service agent on the presidential detail. He was arrested before he could testify before the Warren Commission about the Chicago JFK threats. To this day, Bolden maintains the charges against him were false.
