Is There a Career in Cleaning?

I've noticed people who will try to belittle or put you down because your profession is a professional cleaner. And I think that you have the most refreshing response to that. Every single job matters. When the pandemic happened, we needed truck drivers. We needed cleaners. We did not need hedge fund managers. But realistically speaking, you need surgeons cannot operate if they do not have a clean operating theater. They cannot manage without porters to lift patients onto trolleys and move them. You should be incredibly proud of the fact that you've done those things, especially against all the odds.
