A black absorbs all wave lengths of light, which is why it looks black to us. It also means absorbing all that light heats them up quickly. That's why a dark colored car heats up warmer in the parking lot than a light colored car. White reflects more light, but yet, i've always assumed that it either would be a heat thing, or that getting all that middle wave length really doesn't actually increase your efficiency much. So just getting the light you need, getting the best bandwits, ye, gives you everything you need without overheating you so quickly. Make sense? Ar like the the good enough bandwits? Yes, it's atly like this works
