The Art of West Anderson

One of my favorite discoveries of the year is just watching this story of this artist trying to get his work done and it's really simple in that sense but there's a lot of complications. It's crazy that he's able to pull it off so really inspiring and a great number one for me anyway is islands from 1987. The umbrellas project is from 95 i mean i think they're still doing it but you know it's just great the stuff they're able to pull off. There's also this dvd box that you can get which is really neat because it has commentaries and it's not specifically criterion but it's like criterion adjacent, very much their vibe.
