How to Trade Credit Spreads

A credit spread means the option you are selling is more expensive than the option you were buying. Credit spreads can be traded both bullish or bearish, but both also have a neutral element to the trades too. It's better to focus on where you think price isn't gonna go instead of being directionally right with your analysis.
