Photographs of the 2015 death of Alan Cordy, a refugee boy who was washed up on a seashore. The artist could not think twice and stop himself from restaging that scene in his own photograph. One can critique this in many ways as a slightly tasteless act one can critique it for for its lack of artistic merit. But there is this kind of irrepressible desire to come and contribute to the creation of historical record through artistic practice.
