Kalam: If the universe is uncaused, then we would expect to see things objects within the universe popping into existence all the time. He says libertarian free will can occur without a cause so it's not inexplicable why other events like my pen floating in the air can happen without a cause. "I'm open to the idea that there was time prior to the creation of the physical universe," Kalam says.
