What Is Mechanistic Reasoning and Why Is It Not Appropriate?
When you run into a problem, the immediate go to answer is always like we need to automate or we need more computers. It's not always the case that that is what you should be doing, especially when you're talking about problem prevention. Automation is still built by a human and at the end of the day there's no difference between the human that builds the automation and the human that maybe have caused the error in terms of both as fallible.
