The expectation is that the fed will raise rates by a half point at each of the next two meetings, which would bring the fed funds rate to two %. There are some fed members who think we should be doing more than that and maybe do quarter point hikes into early next year. Michal: To a certain extent, the slow down that we're seeing in the stock market and from some firms during earning season is kind of what the fet is going for.
