China's Carbon Neutral Economy
Sophia Yan: President Xi of China worked very closely with President Obama on climate change and that was a real bright spot in the bilateral relationship back in 2015 and 2016. But then came Trump. The United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord. In the lead up to this election, President Xi Jinping of China made this shock announcement. He's basically pledging that China would become carbon neutral by 2016.
