Reparations can look like different social programmes that actually benefit the ancestors of those who were negatively impacted by raceism and slavery. But i think there's a lot of devil in the details here. The entire south lacked an education system prior to the civil war, because there was no need to educate any one other than the handful of elite white landownerswho just home schooled their ate children or families. And they weren't the only ones desperately hurt by this evil practice of slavery. There 's a case where the slave economy definitely hurts african slaves and their descendants, but it also hurt every other poor white person in the south,.
