Galen's Teleological Commitments to Aristotle's Philosophy of Nature
Galen was a great admirer of Aristotle. He became very convinced that animals and maybe also plants another things in the world were what we might say are teleologically put together. And this is interesting because although he thought of himself as a follower of Plato and Hippocrates here we seem to have a really important point of agreement between him and Aristotle.
